Several years ago, Pat Rogers gave me a green rubber bracelet with the words “Unfuck Yourself” while I was a student in one of his classes. While I can’t remember exactly what I had messed up, it’s a given that I needed to hear that advice.
Fast forward to today, and I no longer find myself wearing the rubber bracelet, but I didn’t want to give up on the motivation that it supplied me. Since my studio building is also home to Cyanide Bunker, I asked the owner Amanda if she could make me a simple copper or silver cuff with the same words. A few hours and several design iterations later, we had this. Instantly I knew I wanted other people to have it as well.
So we put the classic advice on this handsome unisex copper and silver bracelet.
A hand-cut silver plate is hand-stamped with either “Unfuck Yourself” or “Don’t Fuck Up”. The plate is then riveted to a copper cuff base, filed, and finished. Each bracelet is also individually serialized. All production is done here at our studio in Bethel, Maine.
The “Regular” cuff is 6.5″ in length and open in the rear for adjustments, and will fit the widest variety of wrists.
We also have X-Small (5.5″) Small (6″) XL (7″) and XXL (8″) versions as well.
If you have unique sizing requirements, please let us know.
TO GET YOUR SIZE:
Measure the circumference of your wrist and subtract about 0.5-0.75″. Choose the size that is closest. If you are in-between sizes, size up. Everyone has different preferences on where they wear cuffs, so this is not an exact science.
10% of each purchase will be contributed to the Marine Raider Foundation or the Warrior Shoot Event Group because it’s just the right thing to do.
NOTE: Due to the nature of this cuff being made from copper, some greenish-discoloration on the skin can occur. We coat the inside of the cuff with clear nail polish to reduce this effect, but there is no guarantee that it will always be 100% effective. The discolor is easily washed off with soap and water.
